Recovery Times After a Laser Skin Resurface

With CO2 lasering, you should see regrowth of the epithelium in about 1 week. After about 7 to 10 days, you will start to notice the treated areas peeling. The redness following the peeling will fade over the course of one to three months, depending on the depth of lasering. You may return to work after about 1 week after treatment, and can start wearing makeup after 2 weeks.
